I'm a student physiotherapist and this is exactly what I was looking for. It's doesn't take up a huge amount of space like a full size model and sits nicely at the side of a desk on the floor. If you're on a budget/don't have a lot of space and you're looking for a smaller anatomically correct skeleton model then this is perfect since the full size ones are at least twice the price and size - and this does the same job! We use the full size ones at university and they're pretty much the same but bigger. This is perfect to have at home and can even be transported if you really needed to, since it's compact and folds away easily. The metal pole and base are attached to the back of the packaging, initially I thought they were missing but once you take the skeleton out of the polystyrene, flip the polystyrene over and you'll find them taped to the back.

You can learn from this just as easily as with a full size model since it's anatomically correct and the parts are all large enough to see properly.
It's very easy to put together and took me less than 5 minutes from it arriving at the door - all you have to do is take it out of the box and put it on the stand and attach the lower limbs, no tools necessary. In terms of moving parts, you can move the model's mandible (it's on a spring - pull it down at let it click into place if it's dislodged), upper limbs (the radius and ulnar bones also move in pronation/supination), lower limbs and remove the skull cap. There's some slight movement of the head at the cervical spine (rotation). The hands and feet come as whole pieces without the individual bones but the bones have been molded so you can see them, you just can't move them. So unless you want something with hand/foot detail that can be moved at the hand/foot joints then this ought to be fine. The spine and scapula are static, but again, it doesn't hinder learning unless you really wanted to move them to visualize their movements. The detail in the molding is great to learn from (e.g. vertebral discs/spine of scapula) so the lack of movement is hardly a problem.

For the price you pay for this, it's a very good learning tool and if you want something with larger or with more moveable parts then the price you pay is going to reflect that. This is perfect for students with not much space or money!

A perfect present for any child and our five year old grandson and six year old granddaughter! Well built and robust and the perfect size! Great anatomical detail! We can't wait to see their faces on Christmas Day!

It came with just the legs to fit - 2 minutes work. Its perfect, much better than I expected. Its somehow much better than a full size skel - that would be a bit much, a bit too much of a shock if you staggered into it with a bad hangover with a full bladder - this is just the right size. I could fight this one.

Very fast dispatch and arrival, very well made product although the fingers and toes don't move but very good resource for students, disappointed that I later found a skeleton that was actually made in the UK so that will be next on list. Nice skeleton though he has been named Ronnie. Recommended.

Arrived on time well protected. Was a bit smaller than I expected but overall a good product and well made.

My daughter is studying for a sports science degree and fits the bill in being an accurate representation of a full size skeleton - and very portable for carrying between home and university in its polystyrene carrier box (if necessary of course).

Just the perfect size. Easy to assemble and can be stored in a corner without taking much space.
Also, easy to visualise all the bones.

Handy skeleton for education. You have to keep screwing the legs on and the legs and feet are not identical to one another. It does not 100% resemble a human skeleton (minus the size) but it does a good job and I recommend it.
